ABOUT VICTORIA

Meet Victoria.

Victoria Osburn wearing a professional black dress

I didn't start Osburn Legal because I had some grand business plan. I started it because I wanted to practice law on my own terms — the way I believe it should be done.

I spent years working in other firms. I learned a lot. I watched a lot. And somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to build something that actually reflected how I think clients deserve to be treated. Not like a case number. Not like a billing opportunity. Like a person in the middle of something hard who deserves the truth — even when the truth isn't easy to hear.

I'm not the attorney who tells you what you want to hear. I'm the one who tells you what you need to hear, and then stays in the fight with you anyway.

I earned my law degree cum laude from Western Michigan University and spent the early part of my career as a law clerk and paralegal before becoming an associate attorney at a respected Lansing firm. My practice spans family law and high-asset divorce, real estate and property disputes, business formation and organization, landlord-tenant matters, and general civil litigation. Whether you're protecting your family, your property, or your business, I bring the same preparation and the same fight to every case. Before law school, I studied biochemistry and molecular biology at Michigan State — a life ago, but the analytical wiring stuck.

I'm a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Family Law and Real Property Law sections, the Ingham County Bar Association, and I've served on the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program since 2020 — because I believe in taking care of the people who take care of everyone else.

When I'm not in the courtroom, I'm probably on a trail somewhere with my family — my husband and our little girl — proving to myself that the hard path is always worth taking.

If you're looking for an attorney who will be honest with you, fight for you, and actually pick up the phone when you call — let's talk.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

What I believe.

I will never sugarcoat your situation, but I will never leave you without a plan.

I return phone calls. That shouldn't be remarkable, but here we are.

Your case is not a file number. It's your life, and I treat it that way.

You deserve a lawyer who fights like it's personal. Because to me, it is.
